In addition, some folks in the social activist world were upset by the comment you made about not wanting to see yourself nude, since it contributes to the whole body pity & body image issues that afflict many individuals today.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the ending effect; the process and discussion is what I find far more significant and fascinating.
It was obvious, from what the individuals said and the comments that came after, just how unorganized and poor the naturist movement is. Why is something so fundamental as an easy definition of a nudist so difficult to answer? This can be a new phenomenon for me, because in business, politics and so forth, the terms are clear and leave no room for ambiguity.
A company has a clear leadership structure. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ff-naturist/young-nudist-photos.html has (or should have) a clear mission. A movement is something which comes about to address specific problems as a result of lack of structured organizations urging on people's behalf (but since it is created to cope with special problems, it has clear cut targets). So where does that leave the nudist world?

This sends us a clear sign that they consider they truly are doing a terrific job and would prefer to preserve the status quo (basically continuing the same way they've been for decades). https://s3.amazonaws.com//viva-naturist/family-nudism-photos.html respect their views but keep the right to disagree.
I sent the post to several people simply to get their thoughts and thus far, I have yet to get one neutral party to say anything favorable about it. The gist of the opinions was that AANR came off appearing like a small kid who is desperate for attention along with being an organization that does not know how to take constructive criticism (and of course the fact that AANR gave the feeling they have given up on attracting the younger generation and today cater to the baby boomers).
